PRO RIG experience and related activities with Extra High Voltage Transmission

• Over two decades of power line maintenance and construction.
• Experience in voltage from 240V AC to 300kV AC to 720kV DC.
• Live line experience in bare hand and hot stick from 110kV – 720kV DC.
• Experience in undergoing routine line patrols and inspections.
• Carrying out asset / condition assessment and lifting inspections. Replacement criterias.
• Mega testing earth resistance.
• Joint measuring using DMO (Digital Measuring of Ohms).
• Conductor preparation for jointing and jointing repairs.
• Installation of Anchors and guy wire system.
• Tower and Pole assembly and erection. Bolt torque.
• Use of conductor trolleys and spacer installation.
• Stringing of Wires.
• Safe working distances when working with or near live equipment (M.A.D minimum approach distances).
• Temporary earthing. Removing any live sources from the work area.
• Tower/Steel strengthening and steel replacement.
• Damaged conductor replacement & repairs.
• Experienced & Certified Lineman.
